Bhagalpur, Bihar: The city of Bhagalpur is on the verge of carrying out driving license tests on the ‘wheel test’ feature, making it the first in the area. Recently, the city tried out the automated Tilkamanjhi driving testing track at Tilkamanjhi bus stand, which is an important change in assessing driving abilities.
Earlier this week, the trial was performed with the help of the IDTR and local officials from the transport industry. To check how effective the system is, both two-wheeler vehicles and four-wheeler vehicles were tested. Testing the two-wheelers went without problems, but officials reported that there were some problems with the four-wheelers’ sensors. It was guaranteed by them that all these concerns would be sorted out before the launch date.
The fact that AI cameras, road sensors, and advanced computers help with the assessments is quite thrilling. In contrast to old manual tests, which can be influenced by people’s mistakes or prejudices, the new method ensures a just evaluation. 16 poles and towers from 12 to 15 meters high are present to give everyone a clear look at what the drivers do as they race.
High-Tech Trial at Tilkamanjhi Driving Testing Track

Official S.N. Mishra told the court that this trial was a significant step for the transport department in the city. He cooperated with the IDTR team to train local workers on how the system should be used. He pointed out that using automation will reduce errors and boost the success of testing procedures. The results on the court will be the only thing that counts. He said that you would not have to guess because he would share everything.
Officials plan to have the system up and running by the conclusion of this month following their last checks. At the time of the test, cameras capable of high-resolution images observe all the candidate’s actions and performance in controlling the bike. As soon as the test is done, the video-making software submits a report to inform applicants about their passing or failing in seconds.
At present, having a wall that surrounds the test track remains a problem that needs to be dealt with. Mishra commented that wild animals and different distractions have gotten onto the track during testing. For this, District Transport Officer Janardan Kumar has given his consent to the proposal set forward by the Building Construction Department. Soil analysis is finished, which means construction can begin soon.
Local people and those who want to learn to drive think this will be a great shift in the area. Some think that employing technology will make the courts more responsible and prevent the same errors and misunderstandings. Auspicious aura surrounds the city as it gets ready for the grand opening. Some people may find it hard to get a driving license. However, now with the Tilkamajhi driving testing track, it seems the process is fair and concentrated on driving skills.
