Bhagalpur, June 4: At an event in the Maharshi Mehi Ashram in Kuppaghat, the Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, revealed some big news last Sunday. The country is about to transform from “a golden bird” to “a golden tiger”, and Bihar will be at the forefront. The district’s connectivity is increasing, with new trains running from Buxar to Bhagalpur and Haldia to Ajgaibinath Dham. Along with that, the new Bhagalpur airport is also underway, putting the thriving prosperity of Bihar in the limelight.
What Will Change?

According to the latest developments, the transportation picture of Bhagalpur will go through a metamorphosis:
- With the help of the new expressway from Buxar to Bhagalpur and Haldia to Ajgaibinath Dham, the duration to reach Patna or Kolkata will be reduced to 5 hours.
- The small planes will fly from the existing airport. However, the new Bhagalpur airport will primarily take care of the trade aspect of Bihar. The planes running from the new airport will export rice, maize, bananas, mangoes, etc., to different parts of India and abroad. This will help the farmers and the agricultural industry in Bihar.
- If the new Bhagalpur airport sees the light of day, it will certainly help the silk industry with export business.
- Apart from the latest transportation progress, there are several things to look forward to in 2025. Samrat Chaudhary revealed, under the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a chain of factories will be built in Bihar in the next five years. This will help people to find jobs in their own state.

Samrat Chaudhary also mentioned that stairs will be built from the Vikramshila bridge to the Champa River. Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon gift the Bhagalpur residents the Vikramshila University. Needless to say, with all these transformations and the growing opportunities, the people in Bihar are on cloud nine.
