It’s shocking to discover that hospitals, which only exist to help, can be robbed by big scams. Exactly, this is what is happening now at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JLNMCH). Fake nurse appointments, fraudulently received salaries, and bribery in the JLNMCH nurse scam case might seriously harm the public. Now that the district magistrate has asked the Civil Surgeon to look into the case, it won’t be long until this scandal becomes serious and extremely complicated.
JLNMCH Nurse Scam Case: Civil Surgeon to Investigate

JLNMCH has been hit by a major scam, revealing that there are fake employees, salary fraud, and plain administrative oversight. The district magistrate, after receiving written complaints from three women, has asked the Civil Surgeon (CS) to carry out a thorough investigation.
The complaint revealed a sad story of workers and clerical staff working together to commit corruption at JLNMCH. They say that certain staff nurses were being paid regularly. Even though they weren’t at work due to being on leave.
A clear case in point from the complaint is Nurse Pratima Kumari, who has not worked for three years, but still gets her monthly salary on time. Reports show that the total compensation to her now exceeds Rs. 28 lakh, taking into account financial increases each year. After the incident, Dr. Hemshankar Sharma set up an inquiry committee and talked with the staff involved, then sent his findings to headquarters.
Nurses are not the only people present in the ongoing scam scenario. It also claims that impostor clerics are working for years after paying large bribes to become officials. Suspicions point to six different employees for allegedly running an appointment scam scheme, and nurses may have to pay a lot to get the shifts they like. As reported, authorities pay salaries to staff who are on leave, yet they keep receiving their checks, resulting in the government losing a lot of money.
DM Orders Civil Surgeon to Unravel the Details
The Bhagalpur DM, Nawal Kishore, has given the Civil Surgeon the serious duty of investigating all of the allegations. He has already told the superintendent of JLNMCH to provide all the needed documents. So that they can figure out what’s wrong. The previous superintendent’s inquiry committee report is now at the medical headquarters. Everyone is waiting to see what actions they take next in this disturbing JLNMCH nurse fraud case.
