CIPET Direct Admission After 12th, Bhagalpur: Students who completed their ITI and Science courses will be granted direct admission to the diploma programs in Plastic Technology and Mold Technology at the third semester level. Such applicants will not be required to sit for the entrance examination. Newly registered students for the academic year 2025-28 can submit their application forms at the CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology) Aliganj campus.
CIPET Direct Admission After 12th: Who is Eligible?
Students pursuing this course will have 60 seats allocated for each of the two disciplines. Other students who have completed their 10+2 level are also eligible for the competitive examination. In the words of Mr. Abhit Lakra, Joint Director & Head of CIPET, “the final date for online registrations is the 1st of June, with admit cards being made available on June 5. The examination date is set for June 8.”
Both courses are for the duration of three years (six semesters). Previously, applicants to these programs from ITI institutions or from 12th Science strands had to take a competitive exam to gain admission into the Diploma in Plastic Technology and Diploma in Mould Technology programs. However, times have changed, and opportunities have increased; students can get a CIPET direct admission after the 12th.
Abhit informed that the first CIPET batch will approximately finish in July. For those who complete a Diploma from here and wish to pursue further studies. And also, there is an option to B.Tech with direct entry into the third semester. Students completing a Diploma from CIPET have ample opportunities. Not only can they pursue a B.Tech, but through hard work, they can achieve great heights in their industry. Furthermore, they have the opportunity to be economically independent by starting their own business.
CIPET has also installed modern foreign machinery. CIPET boasts the use of modern foreign machinery, such as Xenon machines for flash lamp production from America and HDT (Hard Disk Drive) machines from Germany. Plastic processing machines were imported from Delhi, and testing machines from Maharashtra. Abhit highlighted the $1 million Xenon machine ordered from America that is used for flash lamp production.
