Dr. Sachin Kumar asked the electricity department to repair the radiology department’s faulty equipment over one week ago. Yet, nothing has been done. When they cannot get tested at a hospital CT scan facility, patients often have to see private centers and pay much higher costs. Looking at where these patients once had scans done in the hospital, they are seeing growing health bills. Every day, about 40 to 45 patients need CT scans at this location. Because of slow bureaucracy, 40 to 45 people are impacted negatively every single day.
