Finally, Bhagalpur now has 24 deluxe buses and two pink buses provided by the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation. On Friday, the Chief Minister officially started the operations of 20 pink and 166 deluxe buses. Following this, all the buses set off for the Bhagalpur Regional Transport Division Office. Going by the information we got, the deluxe buses set off at 1:10 pm, and the pink buses departed at 4 pm. The Bhagalpur pink bus route and timetable are mentioned below.
From the total of 24 deluxe buses, it has been decided that 6 will go to the Jamui depot and another 6 will be sent to the Munger depot. Eleven buses will be stationed in Bhagalpur, while two will start from Amarpur and Sahebganj in Banka, making their way to Bhagalpur first. The schedules for buses leaving Bhagalpur bound for Darbhanga, Jogbani, Saharsa, and similar routes are now available. The prices for flights will be made known in due time.
Bhagalpur Pink Bus Route And Timetable
As of now, the Bhalagpur pink bus route has not been decided. However, we know the route of the new deluxe buses; read a detailed overview of the journey.
- Bhagalpur to Darbhanga:Â The bus will leave from Bhagalpur at 06:05 AM and reach Darbhanga at 08:35 PM. The next day, leaving Darbhanga at 07:45 AM, it will reach BGP at 10:10 PM.
- Bhagalpur to Muzzafarpur:Â Leaving BGP at 07:00 AM, the bus will reach Muzzafarpur at 06:15 PM. In order to return, it will leave from Muzaffarpur at 07:30 AM and reach BGP at 06:45 PM.
- Bhagalpur to Jogbani:Â The bus will leave from Bhagalpur at 07:25 AM and reach the destination at 01:15 PM. On the same day, it will leave Jogbani at 02:10 PM and return to Bhagalpur at 08:00 PM.
- Supaul to Bhagalpur:Â Leaving Supaul at 05:33 AM, it will reach BGP at 11:00 AM. It will again begin its return journey from Bhagalpur at 01:50 PM and reach Supaul at 07:25 PM. The second bus will leave at 08:22 AM and reach BGP at 01:45 PM. It will leave BGP at 04:55 PM and return to Supaul at 11:45 PM.
- Saharsa to Bhagalpur:Â The first bus will leave at 06:00 AM and reach Bhagalpur at 11:18 AM. It will begin its return journey at 12:55 PM and reach Saharsa at 06:10 PM. There’s another bus that leaves Saharsa at 07:55 AM and reaches BGP at 1:10 PM. On the same day, it will leave Bhagalpur at 02:55 PM and reach Saharsa at 08:10 PM.
Buses Traveling Via BGP
- Sahebganj to Purnia:Â It will leave at 05:45 AM and reach Purnia at 12:15 PM (via Bhagalpur). It will again leave Purnia at 02:45 PM and reach Sahebganj via BGP at 09:45 PM.
- Amarpur to Bakhri: The bus will leave from Amarpur at 05:00 AM and will reach Bakhri (via Bhagalpur) at 10:45 AM. On the same day, it will leave Bakhri at 11:05 AM and reach Amarpur via Khagaria and Bhagalpur at 04:45 PM.
Facilities Available in the New Deluxe And Pink Buses
The new deluxe buses will feature comfortable pushback seats, CCTV, storage compartments for water bottles, charging points, the ability to track the bus’s location, clean and hygienic areas, and a sound system for entertainment.
The pink bus will have the newest facilities for the comfort of passengers. There will be CCTV cameras and GPS in the building for safety. Also, each seat will have a panic button as an additional safety measure. If there is a crisis, pressing the panic button will send details to the control center. This makes things more convenient for women or anyone using the vehicle.
